In the mid-2000s, Kathe was the first Executive Director of IVeH. She worked closely with Rifat Latifi, MD, Ronald Merrell, MD, and many other amazing healthcare professionals, biomedical technicians, computer technology professionals, students, and others, as IVeH grew into the successful and world-renowned organization it is today.
She has many years of experience in developing successful not-for-profit organizations, holding positions as Board President, Executive Director, and Chair of several local, statewide, national, and international organizations.
Kathe has assisted in the development and management of NGOs in developing nations. She has an extensive background in not-for-profit funding and development.
She has been previously employed for 28 years with the now Providence St Joseph Health System, during which time she was the Director of Telemedicine, Rural Health, and Alliances, as well as the Director of International Medicine.
Kathe has traveled and continues to travel internationally reviewing mission sites, serving the poor and vulnerable in developing nations.
